This intimate portrait is told through extensive archive interviews with the great man himself and new interviews with his family, friends and colleagues including Smokey Robinson, Ray Parker Jr, Nathan East, Taboo from Black Eyed Peas, producer Jack Perry, record company boss Russ Regan, Love Unlimited member and ex-wife Glodean White and his children Barry White Jr and Shahera White amongst many others.

This is the first documentary release on the life and music of Barry White, fully authorised by the Barry White Estate and features contributions from his family.
